I had never been to Yosemite before. A local friend of mine always refers to it as “God’s greatest cathedral”. She was so right. The sun goes through all the colors of the rainbow through out the day. It starts off bright and airy, turns to this fiery orange, and ends in a royal purple. The rock formations were like nothing I had ever seen before. Walking on the edge of Taft Point and looking down was dizzying, but worth it.
Taylor and Chris had me laughing the whole time. Ass grabbing, piggy back rides, and shot gunning beers the whole way. One of my favorite parts of their day was foraging around Yosemite to build their bouquet. Treading off the beaten path to find bits and pieces of nature that fit into their fall elopement. We hiked back in the dark, flashlights and all. We reminisced on old camp memories all night and ended up at In and Out for a late dinner. The day was simple but it was exactly how they wanted it. It was beautiful to witness their love in this National Park.
